• Conducting security and safety patrols in Indonesian territorial waters and Indonesian jurisdiction.

Function

• To formulate national policies in the field of security and safety in the territorial waters of Indonesia and the jurisdiction of Indonesia;
• Organizing security and safety early warning systems in Indonesian territorial waters and Indonesian jurisdiction;
• Carry out guarding, supervision, prevention and prosecution of legal violations in Indonesian territorial waters and Indonesian jurisdiction;
• Synergize and monitor the implementation of marine patrols by related agencies;
• Provide technical and operational support to related agencies;
• Providing search and rescue assistance in Indonesian territorial waters and Indonesian jurisdiction;
• Carry out other tasks in the national defense system.
